This is a project that started off as finding some content for an exercise in building and working with databases, but expanded into something that I think is a bit more interesting. It’s a collection of significant events in the history of communication technology, from the earliest written texts, through print, telegraphs and telephones, up to the digital age, the internet and World Wide Web.
